Esimone commends Uni-Zik Business school on its Int'l Conference

Vice-Chancellor Nnemdi Azikiwe University (Uni-Zik) professor Charles .O.  Esimone has loud  the Business school of the institution for its giant strands since its inception.


The V.C in his address at the ceremony of the 2nd edition of the international conference of Uni-Zik business school held at the school auditorium said "The leadership of the Uni-Zik business school deserves an commendation for its unrelenting drive in pushing academic discourse on economic issues of particular interest to Africa and Nigeria.

On the choice of these years theme: Re-enginaring Africa Economics towards sustainable business development, Esimone said its traceable to its vulnerable dependence on the export of primary resources attempts to re-engineer Africa economics/business development and it should be anchored on exploiting the values of our primary resources.

Esimone while congratulatory Dr. Clem Nwogbu, Dr. Obiora Okonkwo, Sir J.J Okeji and Chief Simeon Eyisi who were  awarded urged them to do even more towards rescuing Nigeria from its extant lamentable, self-imposed economic travails which has sink the system.

One of the awardees Dr. Obiora Okonkwo in an interview with journalist express delight stating that he has never received an award from a business school.

In his words " This is  very significant to me. As an indigene of the state, a prophet is usually not recognise in his home town, we have proven that theory wrong and am delighted about it.

Okonkwo, a philanthropist added saying "there is a relationship between me and the school to sponsor a research that will enable intellectual findings to know the magic behind the success of great achievers.

" It will help put an intellectual study and find out reasons behind the failures of continuity which will be used as a lecture material for those who will be passing through these school.

"We must have to grow the economy and for it to be successful we need private sector who will make a necessary impacts, there is need for these school to guild them because value is very critical.
