Lack Of Cooperation Will Put Nigeria In Jeopardy , says Bishop Ezeokafor

The Catholic bishop of Awka Diocese, His Lordship Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, says the uniqueness of the year two thousand and twenty will cause a great turnaround in the fortunes of all Nigerians, noting that the year 2020 sounds so sweet, lively, unique, appealing and favourable.

Bishop Ezeokafor who stated this in Agulu Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra state yesterday  , enjoined Nigerians to cooperate with government at all levels to enable it carry out its plans for the masses.

According to the outspoken cleric, being antagonistic and insensitive to the government of the day would end up severing the country and thereby causing more harm to hapless Nigerians.

The influential and charismatic prelate emphasized that there was no other country to be called theirs, arguing that lack of cooperation from the people would end up placing the existence of the country in absolute jeopardy.

Bishop Ezeokafor expressed the hope that the coming year would affect Nigerians positively, saying that going by the way the year sounded he was optimistic that it would bring about the needed changes in the system, adding that he was particularly delighted with how God allowed all them to see the end of the year 2019.

He enjoined Nigerians to show love to one another and also purge themselves of hate, noting that love breeds progress, peace and unity, adding that little act of kindness could trigger uncountable blessings and great in fortune.

'We thank God for His mercie Is. We appreciate Him immensely for keeping us alive to witness and see the end of the year 2019. Many died this year and we are here. It is something remarkable.

'We are thankful and happy seeing this day. We look forward to the coming year with great hope. We have so much going into the new year with. So much to thank God for. Let us keep hope alive. I see a better and prosperous 2020,' Bishop Ezeokafor said.
