to the Committee on Constitution Review after lawmakers passed the proposed
amendment for second reading.
The Nigerian Senate on Thursday, passed for second reading
an amendment of the constitution allowing Higher National Diploma or its
equivalent as the least educational requirement for anyone seeking to run for
the office of the president or state governors.
