Death has always been described as an inevitable end and transition into an eternal life which no one knows when it will happen in most burial messages, Late Mrs Magrath Achusi has taken the ultimate call as her remains was laid to rest in her compound in Isiaku village, Isuofia in Aguata Local Government of Anambra State.
Aged seventy three, the deceased who survived by children, grand children and many relatives was known as a strong- willed, benevolent and fervent christian during her life and time. Moreso, she was the mother of Paul Achusi of Anambra State Newspaper and Printing Corporation, ( ANPC), publishers of National Light newspaper, Ka o do taa newspaper and SportLightxtra newspaper.
Speaking during the burial rites, the deceased eldest son, Sir Chizoba Achusi expressed that their mother was a very kind, good, pure hearted, generous, rare personality and disciplined mother who brought up all her children in the Christian faith even till her demise, adding that he will greatly miss her company which has created an irreplaceable vacuum in the family while praying God to grant her eternal rest.
While speaking to National Light, the daughter of the deceased, Mrs. Edith Nwamaka Obiekezie described her mother as a caring, prayerful, charitable woman, courageous and matriarch of the family, " As we believe, she has been granted an eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord" she said.
The solemn ceremony of Late Mrs. Achusi was paid a rest respect by family members, relatives, friends, colleagues, well wishes and sympathisers from different works of life, religious groups and organisations, including members of ANPC led by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Sir Chuka Nnabuife to commiserate with their colleagues, Paul Achusi and family over the death of their beloved mother.
