HAPPENING NOW: OCHENDO BIDS FAREWELL TO WASHINGA AS BOSSOM FRIEND IS LAID TO REST IN ACHALLA, AWKA NORTH 16/1/2019 BY EJIKE FAVOUR

It was all tears and gloom today as Chief Godson Ezenagu (Ochendo) joined the family, friends and well wishers of Late Honourable Christopher Ifechukwu Aniebonam aka Washinga at his hometown in Achalla, Awka North.

 Ochendo who was close to the deceased wept bitterly and was inconsolable as he visibly was yet to get out of the shock of his Ally's demise.
 In his condolence speech to the family of the deceased, Ochendo described his shock at hearing of the death of their breadwinner and narrated how the late Washinga had supported him and was working with him towards achieving victory in the forthcoming elections. He recollected that the last time they spoke, Washinga had told him he would win the elections and that Ochendo would continue to have his support, only for Washinga to leave him without notice.

 Ochendo could not complete his speech as he broke down in tears again as the reality of Washinga's death stared at him in the face and left him visibly shaken.
The deceased's brother, Mr Vincent Aniebonam and his first son uche Aniebonam thanked Ochendo for coming to join them in their time of sorrow, called on Ochendo to wipe his tears and cry no more, and assured him that the support which their Late Father gave to Ochendo will be replicated by the entire Aniebonam household and Achalla people at large..
