I will justify my mandate -- Ifeanyi Uba By: Ifeanyi Okonkwo

The Young Progressive Party (YPP) Senator elect  for Anambra South Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Uba has re-assure his people and maintained he will fulfill his campaign promises.

Uba, made this known in his parish St. Peter Claver Catholic Church Otolo-Nnewi at a Thanksgiving mass to God for a transparent election that produced him as the distinguished senator elect in the just concluded National Assembly election.

The senator elect re-assured the people of his  senatorial District that he will always utilise the mandate they bestowed on him for the betterment of the senatorial zone.

Addressing the congregation, he thanked them for giving their full support. He also thanked the church for their prayers maintaining that he is going to the Senate to continue his selfless service, attract quality bills that will improve the lives of the people and consolidate his community project.

He further added that his party will checkmate multiple and illegal taxation across Anambra state if it's candidates are elected in the coming  state assembly election slated to hold this Saturday 9th March.

He frowned at the level of exploitation of traders in the state through multiple and illegal taxation emphasising that the state government should look for real foreign investors rather than relying on petty traders for revenue generation.

Uba, called on all stakeholders in the state to ensure that majority of   incoming legislators in the state are from the opposition parties in order to checkmate the executive appropriately.

It will be recalled that YPP has 10 candidates contesting for Anambra state assembly election.
