‘Don’t force a failed leader on Nigerians’

Aliyu Abbas, a Special Assistant to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has urged the ruling All Progressives Congress not to force “a failed leader” on Nigerians.

He warned that Nigerian youths would not sit back and allow such to happen.
Abbas made his position known in an open letter he addressed to the leadership of the APC and made available to journalists in Kaduna on Thursday.
He said, “There is a limit to what Nigerians can take. The younger generation of this country will not sit back and watch you (APC) desperately force a failed leader on them to destroy their future.

“Millions of Nigerian youths have already lost their jobs in the last four years.

“That is the main reason for the increase in crime across the country.”

Abbas criticised the conduct of the last presidential election, describing it as a total mess.

He described the election as a clear departure from the way the 2015 election was conducted under former President Goodluck Jonathan.
