COLLATION OF PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION RESULTS FROM RIVERS ONGOING AT INEC PH:

1. Oyigbo LGA
Announced by Collation Officer: Henry Ifeanyi a lecturer from Uniport

APC - 3,520
PDP - 16,102

2. Asari-Toru  LGA
Announced by Collation Officer: Dr Steve Wordu, a lecturer from Uniport

APC - 18, 180
PDP -   3, 175

However, results were from 10 wards. The collation officer said election did not hold in 3 wards.

3. Omuma LGA
Announced by Collation Officer: David Chris,  a lecturer from Uniport

APC - 2, 494

Entire Ward 9,  containing 10 polling units was cancelled, including additional 6 polling units in different wards as a result of over voting and violence

4. ONELGA LGA
Announced by Collation Officer: Uwoma Runkwe,  a lecturer from Uniport

The collation officer concluded that elections in ONELGA were very peaceful. He, however, suggested that computation of figures be done through Excel software to completely eliminate human error and save time.

5. Obio/AKPOR  LGA

The Collation Officer said votes were collated in only 13 wards out of 17 wards in Obio/Akpor because of crisis. He said results from two wards were mutilated, while results from the other two wards came in very late after the area commander saved them from a crisis area to the INEC office. The affected wards are 1, 3, 15 and 16.

Results were collated in 10 wards out of 11. Gunmen hijacked electoral materials in ward 6.

Andoni is the LGA of PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus and the immediate past APC Chairman in Rivers State, Davies Ibiamu-Ikanya
