A Ghanaian footballer in South Africa has been hospitalized after he was allegedly shot by South African Police as xenophobic attacks in the country continues.
The footballer identified as Arthur was reportedly shot
in both legs at close-range at the Kempton Park on Sunday, September, 8.
Mr Arthur, who has been plying his trade in South Africa
for the past two years claimed he did not commit any crime or had an argument
with the police which resulted in the shooting.

Commissioner to South Africa, H. E. George Ayisi Boateng rushed Mr. Arthur to
the Grenclof Hospital in Pretoria upon hearing of the sad incident.
