Court of law should maintain decorum in its decision of Anambra guber -- Chima Christian

By Saint Ifeanyi Ndukwe

Chima Christian, a good governance advocate and public analyst clears the air on the outcome of the Anambra gubernatorial elections. According to him, the affected candidates of the last elections should exercise their fundamental rights by seeking redress in the court of jurisdiction.

" lt will be too risky to allow APC challenge Soludo wins in the court alone. They have legal precedent to the process. Take IMO state for example, if by stroke of judicial activism and the court agrees with Andy Uba. Then the decision is reversed other wise. Personally, I agree with  Soludo's victory and I'm also comfortable with Soludo as a governor. But the prospects of having Andy as a principal leader in Anambra is appalling. That is why, I will implore all well meaning Anambra people to urge PDP candidate to pursue this matter to court until the decision of who leads the state is reached.

He, however, said that the court of law should not be the final decision maker in deciding the fate of the vast populace.

"We should not have a 5 or 7man panel decide the fate of a state like ours. We must take our destiny by ourselves and ensure that the right decisions are reached.  "
